Session Recording.

Your consultation will be recorded via Zoom. The recording and transcript are used exclusively by The Designer Index to prepare your personalized written recap and action plan, which will be delivered to you after your session. The recording is not shared with any third party.

Recording Laws.

Video consultations on The Designer Index are conducted between parties who may be located in different states. Recording consent laws vary by jurisdiction. By completing this booking, you confirm that you consent to the recording of this session and acknowledge that you have been informed of this recording in advance.

Professional Guidance, Not Direction.

The guidance, recommendations, and design suggestions shared during your consultation are the professional opinion of an independent design expert. They are intended to inform and inspire your decision-making, not to direct it. All decisions regarding your home, purchases, contractors, renovations, or any other actions taken following your consultation are made solely at your own discretion. The Designer Index and its designers are not responsible for any outcomes, costs, damages, or results arising from actions you choose to take based on consultation content.

Jurisdiction.

The Designer Index operates under the laws of the State of Michigan. By booking a consultation, you agree that any disputes arising from your use of the platform will be governed by Michigan law and resolved through binding arbitration in the State of Michigan.

Platform Terms.

All consultations are facilitated by The Designer Index as a technology platform. Design services are provided by independent design professionals, not by The Designer Index. By completing this booking you confirm you have reviewed and agree to our full Terms of Service.

No Refunds After Session Completion.

Refund eligibility is determined in accordance with The Designer Index refund policy. Completed sessions are non-refundable.
